Pip calculator
What one pip is worth in money, for any pair and trade size.
A pip is the smallest normal price move. Its money value = pip size × contract size × lots, converted to your account currency. Pick a pair to prefill the numbers, then edit any of them.
Pip value
$10.00
Per lot: $10.00
The main value is in the pair’s quote currency (exact). For pairs not quoted in USD (USDJPY, crosses…), set the quote→USD rate to convert it to your account currency.
How it works
- Pip value = pip size × contract size × lots.
- That result is in the quote currency; multiply by the quote→account rate to get your account currency.
- For USD-quoted pairs on a USD account the rate is 1.
AUTOMATE IT
Let LOTUX apply this on every trade
These are the same calculations LOTUX runs automatically — set your risk rules once and every signal from TradingView, a webhook, an AI bot or a copied master is sized and executed for you.
- Self-host — run the bridge on your own machine.
- Cloud — run it on LOTUX cloud instead.
Most bridges give you one or the other. LOTUX gives you both.
Questions
- How much is one pip worth?
- For a standard lot (100,000 units) of a USD-quoted pair like EURUSD, one pip (0.0001) is worth about $10. This calculator works it out for any pair and lot size.
- Why is my pip value different?
- Contract size, pip size and the quote currency differ by pair. JPY pairs use a 0.01 pip; gold and indices use different contract sizes. Edit the fields to match your instrument.
