Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how LOTUX handles payments, trials, cancellations, and refunds for its subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to these terms together with our Terms of Service and Risk Disclaimer.
1. How LOTUX charges
- Free tier: US$0 — one trading account, limited features. No card on file. No charges.
- 7-day Pro trial: new accounts receive a 7-day Pro trial on the first trading account. No credit card required. At trial end, the account auto-reverts to Free unless you have subscribed.
- Basic plan: US$8 per trading account per month, or US$80 per trading account per year (annual saves 17%).
- Pro plan: US$15 per trading account per month, or US$135 per trading account per year (annual saves 25%).
- Billing is recurring. Monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days; annual subscriptions renew every 365 days, on the same calendar day as the original purchase.
2. Cancellation
- You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date — we do not pro-rate the unused portion.
- After the billing period ends, the affected trading account reverts to the Free tier. Account data (history, configurations) is retained per the Privacy Policy.
3. No automatic refunds
Because LOTUX is consumed continuously and billing periods are short, we do not offer pro-rata or partial-month refunds when you cancel mid-period. The amount you paid covers usage through the end of the billing period regardless of whether you actively used the Service every day.
4. Payment-error review
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, or a charge to the wrong account — contact legal@lotux.io within 14 days of the disputed charge. Provide:
- The email address on your LOTUX account
- The date and amount of the charge
- The trading account the subscription is attached to
- A brief description of what you believe is incorrect
We will review the case in good faith and respond within 5 business days. If the charge is confirmed as an error on our side, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.
5. Failed-payment grace and recovery
- If a renewal payment fails, our payment processor will retry up to 4 times over a 5-day window.
- During the 5-day retry window your subscription continues with status past_due and the Service remains active so you can update your card.
- If all retries fail, the subscription transitions to grace for up to 30 additional days, during which Pro features remain available. You can re-enable normal billing at any time during grace by updating your card.
- If grace expires without payment, the subscription transitions to expired and the trading account reverts to Free. Account history is retained for 90 days, then archived for 1 year before hard deletion.
6. Plan changes and proration
- Upgrade (Basic → Pro): takes effect immediately. The unused portion of your current Basic billing period is credited toward the Pro charge. You are charged the prorated difference upfront.
- Downgrade (Pro → Basic): takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro features until then, then the account renews at the Basic rate.
- Switch between monthly and annual: takes effect at the next billing period. Annual purchases are not refundable mid-term except under the payment-error rules of §4.
7. Multiple trading accounts
Each paid plan is attached to one trading account(a connected MT5 or cTrader account inside LOTUX). If you cancel one trading account's subscription, other paid trading accounts on your LOTUX user account are unaffected. The free Account #1 slot remains free.
8. Discount codes and promotional pricing
- Discount codes apply only to the first paid billing period for the trading account they were used on, unless the code explicitly states otherwise.
- Renewal pricing reverts to the standard plan rate after the discounted period.
- Codes are non-transferable, non-refundable as cash, and may not be combined with other codes unless explicitly stated.
- LOTUX may revoke a discount code at any time for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms. Existing subscriptions that have already used the code keep their pricing through the period the code applied to.
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting legal@lotux.io for review, LOTUX may immediately suspend or terminate your account pending resolution. We will work in good faith with you and the payment processor to resolve disputed charges; please contact us first.
10. Tax and processor fees
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, VAT, GST, or payment-processor fees. Taxes and fees are added at checkout where required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes affecting your active subscription will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Pricing changes apply to renewals after the notice period; your current billing period is unaffected.
